You can become a drawing artist with the pencil spinning top. Even if its ability to draw a straight line is limited, it is a true master of curves.
This is how it works: Push the pencil through the body of the spinning top. The tip should stick out about 1.5 cm. Turn the spinning top by whisking it between the palms of your hands. Normal printer paper placed on a tray or in a box lid is suitable as a drawing surface. If the spinning top is twisted vertically, it rotates more or less on the spot. So if you want to draw something larger than a dot, you should place the spinning top at an angle. Another possibility is to tilt or swivel the bottom to give the spinning top a direction of movement. The shape of the tip also has a great influence on the running characteristics of the spinning top. A blunt pencil is not at all a disadvantage here.
 All standard hexagonal pencils of hardness 2B and softer are suitable as replacement pencils.
