Holzkreisel mit optischen Effekten
Das merkwürdige Muster auf diesem Kreisel heißt nach dem britschen Physiker und Spielzeugerfinder C.E.Benham "Benhams Wheel".
Wenn man den Kreisel dreht und entspannt auf das Muster schaut, nimmt man Farben wahr, obwoh sie in diesem Design gar nicht vorkommen.
Dieser Effekt ist am stärksten wenn sich der Kreisel langsam dreht.
Die Farbwahrnehmung ist von Mensch zu Mensch unterschiedloch. Die Ursache für diese Erscheinung ist bis heute nicht erforscht.
