A101 - Birds egg

Bird egg is the spinning top that challenges you! Due to its unusual shape and its high centre of gravity it needs a lot of momentum to be set in motion. You have to put the top between your thumb and index finger and flick it on. And once you have set it in motion, it runs straight as a die and full of lightness until it starts to tumble... very worth seeing!
The bird's egg is hand-turned from the precious woods ebony and amboina burl and is produced in a small series by Armin Kolb.
