To turn it on, pull off the bead. It is only for storage and securing, so that the spring clip is not lost.
Hold the spinning top by the edge between thumb and forefinger. Insert the spring clip into two opposite holes near the gyro axis. Place the top and the ends of the spring clip on the ground. Hold the spring clip at the upper end between thumb and forefinger of the other hand and wind it up for about 3 half turns.
Release the top and pull out the spring clip at the same time.
Not suitable for sensitive surfaces.
