This spinning top pendant for the Christmas tree was carved in the Upper Volga region, the Russian centre of matryoshka carving.
The artists in the workshop in St. Petersburg, Russia first hand-paint the background and then apply various detailed elements such as faces, which are printed on a very thin vinyl adhesive. These elements are reproduced original artworks.
Finally, each doll is finished with several coats of non-toxic water-based varnish.
